September Months Birthdays!!! 20 na ako!!! Sept 5th 2016

Ok so i am gonna start off this email anay by saying happy birthday to the people that have had birthdays within the last 5 or 4 days!!!!!! I love you guys and i hope that you have had wonderful birthdays!!!!! two main people i am gonna shout out in this email is Roy!!!! and my lovely lovely short sister BreAnna!!!!!!! I hope you are having a wonderful time for your birthdays you guys and bre hope St. George (Geezy) ;) is a blast and you are kicking your husbands butt in golf!!!!! but i hope you guys have fun and for you out of the state or town or where ever you all are BE SAFE!!!! :):):) I can't believe that is is already September... time flies by.... but it's all good!

So this is my first birthday away from home ever in my life... But i get to spend it down in the City of Iloilo for our Mission tour this Wednesday so i am actually really excited about it!!!! It will be an awesome but interesting day to have!!! i'll make sure to get some really good pictures from this week as well for you guys :) mainly cause i didn't take any this week cause it has been a busy week this week.... But super fun :) I absolutely love being here Serving the Lord even though time feels like it is flying by...

So this week we have had a member come with out because he is preparing for his mission and his mom was like hey he is coming to work with you guys Thur-Sun so we were just like uhh unexpected but alright! Super fun and yesterday we had him and two sisters from the Ward that used to be less active when i first got here come with us 3 because they wanted to see what missionary work was like so it was really fun galing we got punted from out first appointment and the second one it just started to pour rain like crazy... so we had to wait for like 20 minutes for the rain to stop or at least slow down cause here it is super loud cause the roofs of the houses are tin.... But we were able to teach this family it is a nanay and a tatay and their apo (grandchild) the lesson went pretty well we could feel the Spirit but after they told us hey we are Born Again and we are just listening to your message which is totally fine cause we are at least able to help them learn more about the truth but we gave them a reading assignment Moroni 10: 3-5 and told them to follow the 3 steps it says there to do... So hopefully they try it... very sweet family though and cute old couple haha, Ok next family... This was a family that my trainer found and they had stopped progressing and actually we went back cause one of their sons wanted us to come back and share with him... super awesome but we retaught the Restoration and as we were talking about Joseph Smith and testifying about him the tatay just flat out says " i don't believe in Joseph Smith" and so i asked him i was like Tay have you prayed yet about him? and he told me no not yet, But the awesome thing was that actually the member that was with us had came back from New York from visiting his sister and was able to tell tatay about how he actually got to go to where Joseph Smith was see his house and go on the tour where he had prayed and just as soon as he had testified and talked about that the Spirit just filled the room and wow... Just such an amazing experience to feel and to see as the two sons hear that experience and you could see on their face they felt the Spirit. We will be following up with them this week on Sunday cause we are busy this week and will be out of the area for about two days...

One other investigator of ours, She has been a long time investigator and she has been taught all of the lessons and is keeping all of her commitments, the only problem was she wasn't really reading and when she would read it was like 3 pages and she never remembered what she read but we went and saw her after Church and asked her how Church was and she said that it was amazing and then she told us that she had started reading later that night! She even actually told us i need to go and focus on my reading so i will tell you what i have learned after i am done reading, and Wow it seriously was amazing as in she learned so much from her reading and understood it and understood the things that we explained a little bit more to her. She had gotten to Ch. 5 i am not sure where she is now cause she continued to read but it was just amazing so she is definitely working to her goal and the date we gave her for October 8th to be baptized!!! She is super excited for it and which is great cause we referred her family to the Sisters so hopefully she will help them as well to feel what she feels and has felt and how she came to know these things are true.

Tons of amazing things have came out of this week and it still just shocks me sometimes seeing all these blessings and amazing things happen... Like wow...
