August 22nd 2016

Honestly this week is a blur and was alright, Ummm something that i learned this week was from my personal study that no matter how hard we think work can be out here or how hard headed people can be that with the help of the Lord anything is possible because this week we went to go teach a new investigator family that are Catholic that we found and in the middle of the lesson the father just shook his head and stopped us and told us that he didn't want us to come back and that he knew more about the truth and the gospel than us because he was older than us and that was the first time that had ever happened to me and my companion in the mission... and after that we went to our next appointment and the same thing happened pretty much we went to go teach this other family and the mother told us we couldn't cause her mom told her not to continue.... very sad but we ended up deciding to go tracting for the next hour till our next appointment and it was honestly a blessing to see because after that we ended up finding two new families that were more than willing to listen to us and to have us come back and it was just really cool to see how things can work. Because we could have just left that area and something else could have happened but we ended up tracting the area some more and from my reading i've been reading in Alma and just from it i have learned so much about how we need to be more willing and have more faith in the Lord because if we have his help we can accomplish a lot and can help bring so many of his children to know the truth and have so much success just like the Nephites did with converting their brothers even though they were hard hearted but they had much success cause the had the help of the Lord and just a tons more i learned but it was just cool to see some of the miracles from this week we had but umm i can't really think of much else that really special happened this week... I will try to have a better email for you all next week though :) and pictures...

I hope that you all had a wonderful week and are being safe back there in America :) and are ready to start up school again for you people in school! i don't know about you but it seems like the Summer break for you guys so the months of June- Aug went by way way fast.... and its already almost Sept! what the heck.... anyways i love you all and miss you guys tons!!! I just remembered also a story... So once upon a time my sweet loving mother actually told me something a couple month before i left for my mission as i was getting ready, So for you all that know me i absolutely love goats. especially baby goats they are just freaking dang cute. So i posted a video on Fb and she had commented on it saying "in a couple months you'll being eating goat!!!!" Ya i told her what is wrong with her that they don't eat goat here and i wouldn't ever eat goat. So Mother i apologize.... You were right.... two days ago we were at a Members house and they fed us food cause we helped a family member of theirs with a CSP and moved a ton of stuff to their house cause this family had just gotten back from New York... but they fed us Curry and usually curry here is like Chicken or Pork but i had no idea what kind of meat it was because it looked kind of like chicken but tasted a little different... So i asked them what kind of Curry was this? and the Nanay that made it told me oh it's kanding (goat) little to say i felt bad because i ate goat... but also it wasn't that bad and actually tasted pretty good... But that was a story i wanted to share this week that i just remembered :) again have a wonderful night and hope you all had a wonderful Sunday with the families :) I love you all. Have a good week and take care and i will see you all next week :)

Keep Smiling :)
