Happy Mothers Day

wanna start this off by saying Happy Mothers Day to all of you wonderful Moms out there and that i hope you all had a wonderful day and for those that have Missionaries that you had a good day being able to Skype them!!!!

So this week has been Pretty amazing honestly :) We have been seeing some really really amazing progression in our area over this last week and we had about 10 less actives come to Church this Sunday and it was so amazing to see because we even had a family that we have been trying to get to come for the past month and they just never wanna keep their promise... They are the definition of Palagput. but that is not the point because we got to see many Miracles this week and i am so grateful for it! plus we had 2 Investigators at Church which i was super happy to see but Honestly more about the less actives because I could see that they were having a good time being back at church again and they were enjoying it which made me so happy that honestly i wanted to cry....

So Pretty much my Trainer thinks i am the coolest now because i probably got us 3 new investigators and new less active family to work with in the coolest way and i am glad that i have talents that i can still use in the Mission but alright well here it is this is how we got them so the Less Active and the 3 new investigators are all skaters and they all have gauges and like tattoos and what not but i told the Less Active i will play you in a game of skate and if i win we get to come with you where you and your friends go to go skate and so i played him in a game of skate and won so we got to go with him and when we got to the place they were kind of like what the heck.... but i made a deal with all 3 of them that i will play them individually and if i win i asked them if we could share our message with them and they all said yes but one of them... but i ended up playing the other two and played one of them twice and i won all of them and keep in mind that i am wearing my proselyting clothes and am in rubber church shoes.... Ya right i am just that good ;) and i haven't skated in about 3 months either so that really says something ;) haha joke lang! but after i had done that it was super cool cause every single one of them even the one that said no sat down on their skateboards and listened to our message and the listened to my testimony because i showed them a picture of me when i had my gauges and they all were like what the heck.. how did you go from that to this?? but i shared with them my story of how i went from like going to having gauges and getting tattoos to being out here serving a mission and it was so cool cause me and my companion have never seen so many focused on one person or so focused on our message. But it just goes to show that no matter what you do or wherever you are people will always want to listen and you shouldn't judge people by the way they look but i thought it was such and amazing experience and they even set up a return appointment with us!!!! :) also i got videos haha of it but i can't send it....

Also i got to do my first Baptism this week! i mean it wasn't our investigator but it was the Sister's in our District but it was still such an amazing feeling to be the one to have been able to do the Baptism for their Investigator and it was seriously such a wonderful feeling to be able to do that and to see what we can do for people and has just made me so much more excited for when we have our own investigators to Baptize and to let them feel that joy of becoming a member and to see the smile on their face after because there seriously is nothing like that! :)

I love you all!!!!!! So good seeing some of you yesterday :) You are all the best and i am so grateful for all of you and for all of you that have been there to help and support me you all mean more than the world to me! Salamat Gid Pirme!!!! Palangga Ko Kamo! Keep your heads up everyone and Make sure to wake up with a smile on your face every morning! :) Keep Growing. Keep Believing! I love you :)

Palangga,

Elder Merrill :)
